Nemo Achida is not only one of my hometown favorite musical artists, but he is one of my favorite musical artists (period). He actually follows two cardinal rules of Rap: (1) Keep it “real.” (2) Defining yourself with style. From a city that produces rappers everyday, he still stands out as a flower among blades of Bluegrass.

According to Pusha-T, Malice found religion, and it immediately became a dark day in rap music. Half of Hip-Hop’s flyest rap duo, The Clipse, went on haitus without properly bowing out. But religion couldn’t keep Mace away from the rap game, so Malice, I mean No Malice is back like Return of the Jedi. With no malice, he is still a contender for rap’s elusive crown.

Lately, I’ve been listening to rappers from the Westside of the United States. It seems the scene has evolved into capturing the Golden Era of Hip-Hop (1990’s). This is my man B. Wash coming with classic boom-bap mixed with some Bay Area flavor. Pick up his release- Thoughtful Therapy.
